The body of Virginia Faye Ivory, 33, was discovered in a vacant lot next to an abandoned house in the 2300 block of 23rd Avenue North this morning.
Ivory, of 14th Avenue North, was reported missing by her mother Sunday. A neighbor discovered Ivory’s body in the overgrown lot at 9 a.m.
The cause of death is not readily apparent. An autopsy by the Medical Examiner is scheduled for tomorrow. The investigation continues.
