Three men charged with breaking into two Bellevue homes earlier today are suspected in a rash of burglaries in Brentwood, Franklin and Nashville.
Convicted felon John St. Cloud, 31, Ronald Chery, 36, and Daryn Chery, 23, are currently charged with two counts of aggravated burglary each.
Brentwood Police officers attempted to stop the driver of a suspect van on Vaughn Road at Old Hickory Boulevard at 1 p.m. The driver refused and minutes later drove down an access road off Hillsboro Pike near the Williamson County line. All three men in the vehicle fled on foot. Brentwood officers apprehended two of the suspects. Metro Canine Officer Joe Shelton and his partner Memphis captured the third and final suspect at 3:45 p.m. Initially the men refused to tell police their names but they were later identified as St. Cloud and cousins Ronald and Daryn Chery. Stolen property was recovered from the van.
Ronald and Daryn Chery recently moved to Tennessee from Florida. Saint Cloud, of Mt. Pisgah Road, has a previous conviction for felony cocaine possession. All three men are being held in lieu of $50,000 bond each.
The investigation continues. Additional charges are anticipated against all three men.
