
Clarksville resident Johnny Lee Kindle has been arrested on a grand jury indictment charging him with vehicular homicide and vehicular assault in connection with a March 24th head-on collision on I-24 near Old Hickory Boulevard northwest of downtown.
A Chevrolet Trailblazer being driven by Kindle was traveling the wrong way on the interstate when it collided with a Nissan Altima being driven by Kelley Beard of Bettendorf, Iowa. Beard, 33, was killed. Her husband/passenger, Mark McQuate, 45, was injured, as was Kindle.
Kindle, 45, was arrested at his Randell Drive home in Clarksville. His bond is set at $75,000.
