The man fatally wounded at 9:10 Thursday night on a sidewalk outside Buena Vista Apartments at 2400 Buena Vista Pike is identified as Damium Roamiar Rosenthal, 22, of Boscobel Street.
Witnesses reported that Rosenthal was involved in an argument with as many as three other persons when one of them pulled a gun and shot him. The gunman and two other young men fled the area on foot. Rosenthal was rushed to General Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
North Precinct detectives continue pursuing leads in their efforts to identify the person(s) responsible.
