
Fatal Crash Team officers are investigating a crash in the 3400 block of Lebanon Pike that claimed the life of a teenage girl.
A Dodge Stratus with Georgia tags collided with a John Deere tractor equipped with a mower on the shoulder of the roadway at 2:25 p.m. The 18-year-old Stratus driver reported that a blue Nissan Maxima cut him off causing the Stratus to swerve onto the shoulder and into the tractor. The left rear seat passenger, a girl in her mid-teens, was fatally injured. The driver and two other passengers are being treated at local hospitals.
The driver of the tractor was not injured.
Family members of the deceased are en route to Nashville from East Tennessee.
