East Precinct detectives are seeking Shateka Morton for questioning in connection with Thursday night’s fatal shooting of Frank J. Wilson in the 1200 block of N. 7th Street.
Wilson, 24, who lived on Evanston Place, was shot in the street at 10:50 p.m. while arguing with a man who has yet to be identified. Wilson was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died early today.
Detectives have developed information that Shateka Morton, 31, was present at the time of the shooting and likely has information about the gunman. Morton is wanted for questioning only.
Anyone seeing Morton, who may be driving a blue 1995 Chevrolet Caprice, or knowing her whereabouts is urged to contact East Precinct Investigations at 862-7600 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
