An ex-convict wanted for questioning in connection with the March 30th murder of Debbie Lynn Shearer at the Holiday Inn on Crossings Place in Antioch is jailed in Memphis in connection with a series of aggravated robberies.
Jason Mitchell Ward, 30, is strongly believed to have information about Shearer’s death. He was booked into the Shelby County Jail yesterday. Metro detectives will be in Memphis this week to follow up on the murder investigation.
Arrest warrants charging Ward with parole violation and theft are on file in Nashville. Ward was paroled after serving time for Shelby County theft convictions.
