South Precinct detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating parolee Jason Mitchell Ward, who has been identified as a person of interest in the March 30th murder of Debbie Lynn Shearer at the Holiday Inn on Crossings Place in Antioch.
Ward, 32, who is last known to have lived on McClurkan Avenue, is also wanted on parole violation and theft warrants, both of which were issued last week.
Detectives investigating Shearer’s murder have developed information strongly suggesting that Ward has information about the crime.
Ward was paroled after serving time for theft convictions out of Shelby County.
Anyone seeing Ward or knowing his whereabouts is urged to contact South Precinct Investigations at 862-7763 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
