Metro Police and members of the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force are working to identify the man believed responsible for five Nashville bank robberies since July, including one this morning.

Agents believe he is responsible for robbing the US Bank’s 10638 Concord Road branch inside Publix at 9:30 a.m. In all five robberies he approached the counter with a small bag and demanded money. The tellers complied. He is also suspected of robbing the following banks twice:

The bank robber is described as a white man who appears to be in his early 40s, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a mustache. He is approximately six feet tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a blue button up shirt, blue jeans, and a white baseball cap with red lettering.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-Crime or the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force at 232-7500.
