West Precinct detectives are working to identify the man who robbed City Car Incorporated at 3705 Charlotte Avenue this afternoon.
The suspect entered the used car business at 12:20 p.m. He robbed an employee at gunpoint and fled on foot toward Park Avenue. He is described as a black man in his early 30s who is approximately 5’10” tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing dark clothing with a bandanna covering his head. He pulled his shirt up to hide his face.
The employee believes the robber is the same man who walked into the business this morning to inquire about employment opportunities. He was told they were not hiring.
