
Youth Services detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two runaway girls, ages 11 and 13, who left their Kings Lane home through a bedroom window overnight and have not been heard from during the day.
Kaleigh Stern, 11, is white, 4’10” tall, weighs 85 pounds, and has brown hair extending below her shoulders. Stern ran away from home before when she lived in Watertown.
Stacey Haynes, 13, is black, 5’2” tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has straight black hair.
The girls were last seen inside their home in the 4000 block of Kings Lane at 1 a.m. Police officers were called shortly before 5 a.m. and have been working to locate Stern and Haynes all day.
Anyone seeing the girls in the community or knowing their whereabouts is urged to contact the Emergency Communications Center at 862-8600.
