A medical issue may have caused the death of a Nashville man whose pickup struck a retaining wall on I-65 near Old Hickory Boulevard this morning.

Terry Spray, 43, was driving his 2004 Ford F-150 truck southbound on I-65 when the pickup drifted across three lanes of traffic and hit the retaining wall at 10:40 a.m. He was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

There was no evidence of alcohol involvement or excessive speed at the scene.
