Mayor Karl Dean and Chief Ronal Serpas at 1 p.m. today will welcome the 56 members of Police Recruit Class 57. This is the largest class to begin the Metro Police Academy in nearly three years.
Media representatives are invited to attend this afternoon’s welcome. The academy is located at 2715 Tucker Road in Bordeaux.
