Rucker is charged with two counts of felony theft for being present on the properties of both stores when the crimes occurred, and one count of aggravated assault for pointing his gun at an uninvolved Walgreen’s employee at the 1801 North Gallatin Pike store. Norton is charged with one count of felony theft and one count of aggravated assault for pointing his gun at an uninvolved Walgreen’s employee at the 627 South Gallatin Pike location.

Based on information developed by North Precinct detectives, search warrants were executed at the Curdwood Boulevard homes of the pharmacy techs and Rucker. Seized were 5,891 prescription pills, three pistols, a tech 22 assault type gun, a BB rifle, and a clown mask.

The investigation has also led the arrests of Linh My La, 20, a friend of Marcus Rucker, and Rucker’s brother, Antonio Pruitt, 26. La is charged with one count of felony theft for traveling with Rucker to the Walgreen’s store on January 8.
