Metro Police patch

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 17, 2008

Central Precinct Detectives Rick Mavity and Ricky Winfrey late tonight recovered both laptop computers stolen from the Davidson County Election Commission. The computers were seized from a home in Goodlettsville. The specific location is not being disclosed at present as the investigation continues.

Earlier today, the hard drive from at least one of the stolen laptops and a stolen Election Commission computer router were recovered from a business known as The Muse, formerly the Kung Fu Coffee House, at 835 4th Avenue South. The investigation shows that suspected burglar Robert Osbourne fenced the computers and router at the business shortly after the Christmas Eve break-in occurred.
