Metro Police patch

South Precinct officers arrested two men shortly after they robbed a pizza deliveryman Monday afternoon outside the Chimney Top Apartments at 100 Chimney Top Drive.

Juan Ucetea, 21, of Water Oak Court, and Charlie Ebanks-Cooper, 19, of Ilawood Drive, robbed the deliveryman at gunpoint at 4 p.m. Ebanks-Cooper fled in a Nissan Maxima and Ucetea fled on foot. Officer John Pryor stopped Ebanks-Cooper as he was driving out of the apartment complex. Ucetea was captured a short time later by Officer Ryan Hampton.

During interviews with South Precinct detectives, Ebanks-Cooper and Ucetea both admitted to the robbery.

Ebanks-Cooper is being held in lieu of $75,000 bond.

Ucetea is being held in lieu of $78,000 bond. His arrest history reflects theft and aggravated assault charges.
