The man found shot Thursday night in the 100 block of Dellway Drive near Dickerson Pike is identified as Darryl Goldthreate, 24.

Goldthreate was found lying in the middle of Dellway Drive at 9:50 p.m. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died. Goldthreate left a friend’s residence at the Dellway Villa Apartments on foot just before the shooting.

One witness reported seeing a dark blue Dodge Intrepid driving east on Dellway Drive shortly after Goldthreate was shot.

Goldthreate’s arrest history reflects convictions for aggravated robbery. An arrest warrant for aggravated robbery had been issued for Goldthreate December 20. He was a suspect in several armed robberies around the Dellway Villa Apartment area.
