The man fatally shot Saturday night in an apartment at 5353 Cane Ridge Road is identified as Dominque Roper, 18, of Nashboro Boulevard.
South Precinct officers responded to a shots fired call at 8:37 p.m. Roper was found in the living room with gunshot wounds to his lower body.
Witnesses reported Roper and a person of interest argued inside the apartment before the shooting.
Anyone with information about Roper’s murder is urged to contact South Precinct Detective Brad Corcoran at 862-7763 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
