FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 26, 2007

Murder suspect Paul Corso is behind bars as the result of his 12:30 a.m. arrest at a South Nashville motel.

SWAT officers assigned to the Special Response Team located Corso in room 112 of the Vista Inn, 1100 Bell Road. He obeyed commands to vacate the room and was taken into custody without incident.

Corso, 22, is charged with last Wednesday’s shooting death of David Hook, Jr., 33, inside Hook’s 915 Patricia Drive home. The investigation shows that Hook and Corso were acquaintances involved in the cocaine trade. The murder is believed to have resulted during an altercation over a drug debt reportedly owed by Corso.

Corso is being held without bond pending a hearing.
