
South Precinct detectives have identified and are looking for a person of interest in the murder of Tameka D. Vines, 30, who was fatally wounded inside her 1300 Magnolia Road home in MDHA’s Vine Hill development near the Tennessee State Fairgrounds. The person’s identity is not being disclosed at present.
Vines was discovered this morning by her 6-year-old daughter. The victim’s 11-year-old daughter was also at the residence. Both girls ran to a neighbor’s house just before 8 a.m. and police were notified.
Neither girl appears to have witnessed the shooting. They are with relatives.
