
Hermitage Precinct detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Timothy Cavander Sanders, who is wanted for questioning in connection with last month’s murder of Melissa Moores.
Moores, 44, was found stabbed to death in her Hickory Hill Lane apartment in the early morning hours of September 25. The victim’s car, a blue four-door 1989 Chrysler New Yorker, was stolen from her apartment complex at the time of the murder. It was located October 17 on North 9th Street.
Sanders, 27, is strongly believed to have information concerning the circumstances of the murder. He is known to frequent the Parkwood area of North Nashville and currently has three outstanding warrants for probation violation. Sanders’ has over 70 arrest charges including possession of a controlled substance, theft, evading arrest, probation violation, driving without a license, assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal impersonation, and failure to be booked.
