An undercover sting set up in response to complaints about drug sales on Blank Street and at the corner of 16th Avenue North and Jo Johnston Avenue resulted in the arrest of 15 persons for soliciting the sale of a controlled substance.
As part of the operation, conducted Wednesday by West Precinct detectives and officers assigned to the MDHA Task Force, an undercover officer posing as a crack cocaine dealer greeted prospective customers. Those requesting to buy crack were taken into custody.
Similar drug operations will be conducted in the future.
