
Metro Police and the FBI’s Violent Crime Task Force areworking toidentifythe man responsible forrobbing the Regions Bank located at4241 Harding Placethis afternoon.
The robber entered the bank around 2:30 p.m. He approached the teller, passed a robbery demand note, and implied that he had a weapon. The suspect was given cash. He was seen leaving in a 2002 green Mercury Sable or Ford Taurus. The robber got into the back seat of the getaway car. A woman was driving with a second female in the front passenger seat.
The robber is described as a black man in his mid-30’s. He is approximately 6’ tall and weighs approximately 350 pounds. He was wearing a yellow t-shirt, grey pants, a ball cap, and large sunglasses.
Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-Crime or Detective Keith Sutherland with the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force at 232-7500.
