
Fatal Crash investigatorsbelieve that a Bellevue woman discovered deceased in her minivan Wednesday afternoonfell asleep before driving off Charlotte Pike.
Paricheher Traub, 57, left work at theOpryland Hotel Tuesday at 12:45 a.m. When she did not arrive at her Newsom Station Road home, and after numerous failed tries to reachher, Traub'shusband filed a missing person report yesterday.
A state worker mowing along the roadway discovered Traub’s Nissan Quest in a group of trees at 8520 Highway 70 South at 3 p.m.Wednesday. The wreckage had gone undetected for 39 hours.
Evidence at the scene indicates Traub was driving west on Charlotte Pike when her minivan drifted across the eastbound lane, struck a fence, and collided witha group of trees.
Traub, the only occupant in the minivan, was wearing her seatbelt.
