The man found fatally shot early this morning outside his apartment at 371 Wallace Road is identified as Juan Tellez Benitez, 37.
South Precinct detectives have identified a person of interest in the murder. Jose Louis Dominguez, 24, who may be staying with friends in the Antioch area, called the victim and asked to meet him outside the apartment. Benitez left his apartment at 12:30 a.m. Gunshots were heard a short time later.
Anyone seeing Dominguez or knowing his whereabouts is urged to contact Detective David Achord at 862-7687.
