The woman found dead Thursday afternoon in the Cumberland River near the Bordeaux Bridge is identified as Latonya Denise Zellars, 36, of Dew Street.
Zellars was reported missing by a friend on September 4. According to the friend, Zellars was experiencing emotional problems.
An autopsy conducted Friday showed no signs of trauma to Zellars’ body. The cause of her death has not been determined. The medical examiner is awaiting the results of toxicology testing.
