Undercover detectives assigned to each of the department’s six precincts this week charged 110 persons with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.

South Precinct detectives charged 23 persons as the result of investigations on Bell Road, Keeley Drive, Harding Place, and Hickory Hollow Parkway. Seized were seven grams of cocaine, four ounces of marijuana, 13 various pills, three vehicles, and $900 cash.

West Precinct detectives charged 21 persons as the result of investigations on Jefferson Street, Park Avenue, Coley Davis Court, Lena Street at Clifton Avenue, and Jo Johnston Avenue. Seized were 14.2 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of marijuana, 18 Lortab pills, one weapon, one vehicle, and $1,140 cash.

Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 21 persons as the result of investigations on Murfreesboro Pike, Millwood Drive, and Donelson Pike. Seized were three grams of cocaine, one gram of marijuana, ten various pills, one vehicle, and $842 cash.

North Precinct detectives charged 19 persons as the result of investigations on Graycroft Avenue, Hydesdale Lane, Westchester Drive, 46th Avenue North, Oakdell Avenue, Whites Creek Pike, Dr. D.B. Todd Boulevard, Underwood Street, Buchanan Street, Ewing Lane, and Rivergate Parkway. Seized were 22.8 grams of cocaine, 71.5 grams of marijuana, 51 various pills, 16 Ecstasy pills, four weapons, and $7,835 cash.

East Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on North 2nd Street, North 1st Street, Litton Avenue, Douglas Avenue, Dickerson Pike, Riverside Drive, Carter Street, and Alhambra Circle. Seized were 1.5 grams of cocaine, 16.9 grams of marijuana, six Dilaudid pills, 828 counterfeit CDs, and $1,550 cash.

Central Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Woodland Street, 4th Avenue North, North 1st Street, and Lafayette Street. Seized were 26 grams of cocaine, 60 grams of marijuana, three weapons, one vehicle, and $347 cash.

Persons suspecting drug activity in their neighborhoods are urged to call the police department's 244-DOPE hotline. Callers to the hotline can remain anonymous.
