The truck driver killed in Wednesday afternoon’s fiery single tractor-trailer accident on Briley Parkway near the County Hospital Road overpass is identified as Daniel Moss, 29, of 371 Wallace Road.
Moss appeared to drift to the right on the northbound lanes of Briley Parkway before overcorrecting the truck, causing it to roll over on its passenger side at 5 p.m.
The gasoline tanker erupted into flames. Firefighters were unable to extinguish the extremely hot blaze. It burned out three hours later.
