The woman found deceased inside the trunk of her car Wednesday afternoon has been identified as Barbara Jean Hodges, 58, of Timberway Drive.
Hodges’ neighbor became concerned about her welfare when he detected an odor coming from her 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier. He contacted police.
The car was parked in a lot in front of Hodges’ condominium.
The investigation indicates Hodges was suffering from emotional and physical difficulties.
An autopsy conducted today showed no signs of foul play. The cause of death, at this time, has been ruled as unknown.
The investigation by Hermitage Precinct detectives is continuing.
