Earnest Fred Brown, 25, who has been a thorn in the side of East Nashville residents on and off for years, is now in custody on a parole warrant. Brown has convictions for theft, vandalism, motor vehicle burglary, and aggravated burglary in the East Nashville area.
Brown was sentenced to prison in October, 2004, after pleading guilty to aggravated assault and burglary. He was released on parole in April.
Brown was arrested July 28 for burglarizing a car in Lakewood. At the time of his arrest he was on a mountain bike that was later reported stolen from another residence in the Lakewood area.
Brown was released July 31 on $13,000 dollars bond. A parole violation warrant was issued Tuesday.
East Precinct Officer Kevin Allen drove by Brown’s Boscobel Street home, saw him in the back yard, and took him into custody shortly after 3 p.m.
