Fifty neighborhood groups and associations throughout Nashville will be taking part in a variety of special events tomorrow evening to mark the 24th annual National Night Out Against Crime.

Chief Ronal Serpas will be stopping by a number of the gatherings, beginning at 5 p.m. with the Skyline North Area Business Council/Dickerson Road Merchants’ celebration on the lawn of Shwab Elementary School at 1500 Dickerson Pike.

Police officers from each of the six precincts and the Mounted Patrol will be attending a variety of neighborhood events to thank families for their support of the Metropolitan Police Department.
