Day three of the four-day Fugitive Safe Surrender program saw 138 persons (the highest daily total thus far) surrender themselves at Galilee Baptist Church, 2021 Herman Street.

Of the 138 persons surrendering today, 25 had felony charges. Seven of the 138 were taken downtown for booking due to the seriousness of their offenses, meaning 131 persons were able to address their situations at the church today and go home.

A total of 324 persons over the past three days have surrendered at the church. Fugitive Safe Surrender continues Saturday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday is the final day.
