
Ninety-two persons today surrendered themselves at Galilee Baptist Church, 2021 Herman Street, in day two of the four-day Fugitive Safe Surrender Program.
Of the 92 persons surrendering today, 18 had felony charges. Ten of the 92 were taken downtown for booking due to the seriousness of their offenses. Eighty-two persons were able to address their situations at the church and go home.
A total of 186 persons over the past two days have surrendered at the church. Fugitive Safe Surrender continues tomorrow and Saturday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.
