Hermitage Precinct detectives have identified a person ofinterest in last Tuesday's shooting death of Kerry Edward Oldham, 28, in the 900 block of 1st Avenue South.
Demarco Lamar Epps, 19, who is last known to have lived on University Court, has been identified by witnesses as being at or near the scene of the shooting and is believed to have critical information about what occurred.
Efforts to locate Epps thus far have been unsuccessful. Anyone seeing him or knowing his whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Johnny Crumby at 862-7727.
Detectives have received information that the victim, Oldham, had committed a robbery in the area shortly before he was shot.
