Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s six precincts this week charged 114 persons with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.

South Precinct detectives charged 20 persons as the result of investigations on East Ridge Drive, Hickory Trace Drive, Packard Drive, and Harding Place. Seized were 3.05 grams of cocaine, 12.03 pounds of marijuana, four Loritab pills, three weapons, one vehicle, and $7,316 cash.

West Precinct detectives charged 22 persons as the result of investigations in the 1800 block of Jefferson Street, the 700 block of 28th Avenue North, the 2000 block of Charlotte Pike, 14th Avenue South at Broadway, and Lewis Street at Robertson Street. Seized were 142 grams of cocaine, 28.4 grams of marijuana, and one weapon.

Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 20 persons as the result of investigations on Murfreesboro Pike, Lebanon Pike, Millwood Drive, Fesslers Lane, and Harold Drive. Seized were 16 grams of cocaine, 130 grams of marijuana, one vehicle, and $400 cash.

North Precinct detectives charged 44 persons as the result of investigations on Brick Church Pike, Trinity Lane, Buchanan Street, 40th Avenue North, Clifton Avenue, Delaware Avenue, 25th Avenue North, 12th Avenue North, South Gallatin Pike, and Kings Lane. Seized were 46.6 grams of cocaine, 52.7 grams of marijuana, 62 various pills, four weapons, one vehicle, and $4,535 cash.

East Precinct detectives charged six persons as the result of investigations in the 800 block of North 2nd Street, the 400 block of Rockwood Drive, and the 1000 block of Dew Street. Seized were 5.9 grams of cocaine, one pound 3.9 ounces of marijuana, one weapon, one vehicle, and $1,213 cash.

Central Precinct detectives arrested 2 persons as the result of investigations on Church Street near 3rd Avenue North. Seized were 41 Ecstasy pills, one vehicle, and $1,170 cash.

Persons suspecting drug activity in their neighborhoods are urged to call the police department's 244-DOPE hotline. Callers to the hotline can remain anonymous.
