Sex Crimes detectives are trying to identify an attempted rape suspect.On February 22 at 10 p.m. a man entered a unit of the River Plantation Condos on General George Patton Road where he attempted to sexually assault a woman.She was able to strike the suspect in the groin and he fled.
The suspect is described as a white male who appeared to be 30 to 40 years old with brown hair and blue/green eyes.He is approximately 6”1’ tall and 175 pounds.
Anyone recognizing this suspect from the composite sketch or who comes into contact with someone fitting the suspect’s description is asked to contact Sex Crimes Unit Detective Jason Terry at 862-7513 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
