The man killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday night has been identified as Dennis Haskins, Jr., 46, of Western Hills Drive.
Haskins was riding his 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Interstate 65 at 7:15 p.m. when he attempted to exit onto Briley Parkway. Haskins failed to negotiate the turn and was thrown from the motorcycle.
Haskins was transported to Skyline Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say speed appears to be the contributing factor to the accident.
