SWAT officers assigned to the police department’s Special Response Team late last night arrested murder suspect Roger Myrick, Jr., who is charged with the January 19th shooting death of Billy Joe Johnson on the property of Litton Park Apartments on Litton Avenue.
Myrick, 18, was arrested without incident at his 3131 Brickdale Lane home. He is being held in lieu of $500,000 bond.
The investigation by East Precinct detectives shows that Johnson, 24, of Geneiva Drive, was shot during a drug-related dispute with Myrick.
