North Precinct detectives have taken out a criminal homicide warrant for Rodrickus "Rico" Jefferson, 30, in connection with the death of a Nashville man early Sunday morning. Jefferson and Antonio Markee Greer, 26, of Cedarmont Circle got into an argument in the back room of a home on the nineteen-hundred block of Cephas Street. Greer was shot once in the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jefferson drives a late nineties model four-door grey or silver Malibu. He has a lengthy arrest history including drug, robbery, and assault charges. Anyone with information on Jefferson's whereabouts is asked to call the North Precinct at 862-7901 or Emergency Dispatch at 862-8600.
