A total of 54 persons were charged with DUI in Nashville over New Year’s Weekend (Saturday, Sunday & Monday).
Additional officers, who are paid through a grant from the Governor’s Highway Safety Office, supplemented the department’s normal complement of patrol and traffic officers in looking for intoxicated/impaired drivers during the weekend.
