Crime of the Week, April 15, 2008
This week Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1000 cash, for clues called in to 74-CRIME that help solve this robbery of an elderly woman at Walmart in Madison.
On Wednesday February 4, 2008 at approximately 11:20 in the morning, an elderly woman entered the Walmart at 2232 north Gallatin road in Madison to cash her income tax refund check at the customer service counter and do some shopping. She was being watched as she cashed her check by three people. When the lady left the store the three walked out behind her. The female subject got into her car while the other two men waited for their opportunity to strike. They grabbed the elderly woman’s purse and knocked her to the ground. They jumped into the getaway car and fled south through the parking lot near the garden area. The elderly woman lost her purse containing all of her belongings and suffered a broken arm.
The suspects were two male blacks and one female black. They appeared to be in their twenties or early thirties. The getaway car appeared to be a 2004 to 2006 pontiac grand prix four door that was gold in color.

If you have information about who robbed and assaulted this elderly woman in the parking lot of Walmart on north Gallatin road in Madison, call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. If the information results in the arrest and prosecution, Nashville Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of $1000 cash.
