Crime of the Week, March 4, 2008

This week Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1000 cash, for clues called in to 74-CRIME that help solve this burglary of the AM Express market on Dickerson Road in north Nashville.

On Sunday, January 27th, 2008 at approximately 2:45 in the morning, police officers responded to a burglar alarm call at the AM Express market at 3740 Dickerson Road. The alarm company said they could hear glass breaking on the stores monitoring system. Officers arrived and found the front door glass had been knocked out. When the owner arrived they were able to review the surveillance video. They saw where a man pulled up to the door in his car and then break out the glass with a bar before entering and stealing items. The man jumped back into his car and fled the parking lot.

The burglar was a male white in his 20’s or early 30’s. He was wearing a black baseball hat which was partially covered by the hood on his dark hooded sweatshirt. He wore denim pants and white tennis shoes. His car was a dark green or black four door with a spoiler on the trunk and chrome custom wheels.

If you have information about who burglarized the AM Express market on Dickerson Road in north Nashville, call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. If the information results in the arrest and prosecution, Nashville Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of $1000 cash.
