This week Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1000 cash, for clues called in to 74-CRIME that help solve the murder of 30 year old Tameka Vines of south Nashville.

On Wednesday, November 7th 2007 at approximately 8:00 in the morning, Tameka Vines 6 year old daughter went to wake her mother up to start their day but found her mother dead in her bed. She and her sister ran to a neighbor’s house to call police. Detectives were able to determine that someone came to Tameka’s home about three that morning and knocked on the door. Her 11 year old daughter woke up when she heard the knock and told her mother that someone was at the door. The child went back to bed and slept until her mother was found dead by her sister later that morning.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding out who killed Tameka Vines in the 1300 block of Magnolia Road of the MDHA Vine Hill development in south Nashville. They hope that someone will remember seeing a person at the door of the home or a car that may have been parked out front.

If you have information about who killed Tamekas Vines in the Vine Hill development in south Nashville, call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. If the information results in the arrest and prosecution, Nashville Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of $1000 cash.

Crime stoppers will also pay up to $1000 for clues called in to 74-CRIME on any other major crime, wanted person, stolen property or drugs. Callers remain anonymous, they will only be known by the code number they are issued.
