Crime of the Week
October 30, 2007
This week Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1000 cash, for clues called in to 74-CRIME that help solve this armed robbery of a Subway restaurant at their new location on Briley Parkway.
On Thursday September 6, 2007 shortly after nine in the evening a man walked into the new Subway sandwich shop at 857 Briley Parkway. He pulled a long barreled revolver and pointed it at the workers behind the counter and ordered them to give him the cash. The workers were very afraid because the hammer on the revolver was cocked and could easily fire if bumped in any way. The workers gave him the money and he left on foot.
The robber was a male black about six feet tall and 180 pounds. He looked like he was in his twenties. At the time of the robbery he wore a black t-shirt, some black shorts and white tennis shoes. He also had on a black bandanna on top of his head. No vehicle was seen.
The video was very good and you can see a slideshow of the robbery.
If you have information about who robbed the subway restaurant at 857 Briley Parkway in south Nashville, call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. If the information results in the arrest and prosecution, Nashville Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of $1000 cash.
