Crime of the Week
July 10, 2007
This week Nashville crime stoppers is offering a reward of $1000 cash for clues called in to 74-CRIME that help solve this missing person and possible homicide of Jason Wilson of north Nashville.
On Thursday, December 28, 2006 at approximately 2:45 in the afternoon, Jason Wilson was dropped off by a friend in the 2400 block of Seifried Street in west Nashville. The friend noticed a black, full sized SUV parked on the street and saw Jason approach the SUV apparently to talk to someone inside of the vehicle. This was the last time anyone saw Jason Wilson. Jason is a lifetime resident of Nashville and has not contacted anyone or has been seen since that day.
Jason had a court date in January 2007 where he failed to show. His family and friends all say that it was very unusual for him and that he had never missed a court date before.
Detectives have reason to believe that Jason may have left with someone in the SUV and may possibly be a victim of foul play because his 2006 silver, Chevrolet Impala with tinted windows was stolen and dropped off at Tennessee State University within hours of his disappearance.
Jason is a 29 year old male black and stood about five feet five inches tall and was about one hundred and twenty pounds. He had several tattoos on his shoulder and forearms. He was last seen wearing a long sleeved white shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
If you have information which might help Metro Police solve this missing person and possible homicide of Jason Wilson of north Nashville, call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. If the arrest results in the arrest and prosecution, you could be eligible for a cash reward of $1000.
