This week Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1000 cash for clues called in to 74-CRIME that help solve this felony theft from the Macy’s store in Green Hills.
On Saturday, March 31 2007, at approximately twenty minutes after six in the evening, two men walked into the Macy’s store in Green Hills Mall at 2126 Abbott Martin Road and began looking through the ladies section. They approached the racks and counter where the expensive ladies purses were displayed. They quickly filled their arms with the most expensive purses and ran out the door to a waiting car. They jumped in and fled.
The car was described as a blue or silver Nissan Altima four door without a license plate on it.
The men were described as two male blacks in their 20’s between 200 and 230 pounds. One wore a red shirt and white baseball hat while the other wore a white shirt and had facial hair.
The theft was caught by surveillance cameras and you can view a slide show of the crime.
If you have information which might help Metro Police solve this theft from the Macy’s store on Abbott Martin Road in Green Hills, call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. If the arrest results in the arrest and prosecution, you could be eligible for a cash reward of $1000.
