This week Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1000 cash, for clues called in to 74-CRIME that help solve the murder of Byron Glenn in north Nashville.

On Saturday, February 18, 2006 at shortly before noon, Byron Glenn was apparently preparing to shower when he heard a knock at his door. Byron lived at 804 Garrison drive near the intersection of Revels Drive. He opened the door and was confronted by two men. They had an argument and Byron was shot. He stumbled into the front yard and collapsed as the men fled to a car that was waiting in front of his home. Neighbors heard Byron calling for help and called an ambulance. When emergency workers arrived they pronounced Byron dead at the scene.

The suspects were described as two male blacks. They appeared to be between eighteen and twenty five years old. One looked to be about six feet tall and the other one was slightly shorter. A third male black was waiting inside the car which was described as a late model, silver, Ford Taurus.

North Precinct detectives are hoping that someone will call Crime Stoppers and share what they know about Byron’s murder.

Metro Police are asking anyone that may have information as to who killed Byron, to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. If the information results in an arrest and prosecution, Nashville Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of $1000 cash.

Byron’s family is offering an additional reward of $5000 for the arrest and prosecution of the men involved in their loved ones murder.

Crime stoppers will also pay up to $1000 for clues called in to 74-CRIME on any other major crime, wanted person, stolen property or drugs. Callers remain anonymous, they will only be known by the code number they are issued.
