Reporting Illegal Activity, Community Involvement

How and where can I report street drug (or gambling, narcotics, prescription drug fraud, or other vice) activity?

There are several things you can do:

  • To report narcotic and street prostitution, you can call the police precinct in which the activity is occurring:

     Central: 862-7611

     East: 862-7600
     Hermitage: 880-1776

     North: 862-4410

     South: 862-7744

     West: 862-7747

  • You can call the Specialized Investigations Division office directly at (615) 782-3301. If no one answers, they have voice mail, and you may leave a message. This avenue can help cut down on duplication of work effort, and allow them to ask more in-depth questions.
  • You can send an e-mail to Captain W. Todd Henry, of the Specialized Investigations Division, and he will assign the complaint. E-mail: w.todd.henry@nashville.gov.
  • Or you can call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME (742-7463). This avenue allows for anonymity, but may take more time to investigate.

If you have any questions, please contact the Specialized Investigations Division office at (615) 782-3301.
